Type Illustration Project
Type Illustration project for Introduction to Typography created January 2023. The objective of this assignment was to create a visually engaging illustration using only letterforms and to explore the creative potential of typography by arranging and manipulating letters to form a cohesive image. I chose to create an illustration of an octopus made out of capital letters using Helvetica. This exercise helped me develop an eye for detail, spacing, and composition within the constraints of letterforms.
